Why we’re proud to be Living Wage Certified.

Here at Skinny Fizz, we believe businesses should exist to better us all and we do our best to walk the talk. Not only does literally everything come from Aotearoa NZ (esp our beautiful homegrown fruit), but we also keep our processes as “skinny" as possible. We’re always looking to find ways to cause good stuff to happen. It’s not just about what goes into the can — it’s about the impact. And that especially applies to our team.

 That’s why for us, backing the Living Wage Movement is a no brainer. Paying the Living Wage is how we honour our people and unless we simply can’t find an alternative, all the external companies we work with are also living wage payers.

 The living wage is an hourly rate that considers not only the workers but their whānau as well. Taking into account family’s everyday expenses while leaving room for the smaller things or any unexpected costs. For some this may seem like only a couple of extra dollars each week, but for others it creates a lasting impact. Helping build decent pay, dignity and stronger communities.

 Choosing the Living Wage doesn’t just benefit our team but the wider community too. It contributes to a fairer economy where more Kiwis have the chance to thrive. When businesses step up, it sets a new standard showing that profit and purpose can go hand in hand. Now that’s something worth raising a can to.

 So, we’re continuing to stand on our promise of fair pay. Because good drinks should do good things — for people and for the planet.
