Your secret baking ingredient? Skinny Fizz.
As the weather cools down, it's the perfect excuse to fire up the oven. Think fluffy banana bread, golden french toast, and a little secret ingredient that makes everything lighter, fluffier, and just a bit more real.
Yep — sparkling water.
We’ve put together a couple of delicious recipes using Skinny Fizz that are guaranteed to get mouths watering. Simply grab your favourite can and give one a go.
Banana bread

Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup sparkling water
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Optional add-ins
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease or line a loaf tin.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in sugar, oil, egg, sparkling water and vanilla until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.
- Pour into the loaf tin.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a skewer comes out mostly clean.
- Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
French Toast

Ingredients
- Thick bread
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup Skinny Fizz
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Gently stir in the sparkling water, being sure not to over mix.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Coat both sides of the bread slices in the mixture, letting the excess drip off.
- Cook each side of the bread until golden brown.
- Stack on a plate & add your favourite toppings!
Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Ingredients
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup sparkling water (plain or lightly flavoured like berry)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup plain flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
Optional add-ins:
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a 20 cm square baking tin with baking paper.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together. Stir until smooth.
- Add sugar and mix well. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk in the eggs and vanilla until the mixture becomes glossy.
- Pour in the sparkling water and gently stir to combine. (This helps keep the brownies light.)
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold together until just combined.
- Fold through raspberries and chocolate chips.
- Pour into the lined tin and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges are set but the centre is still slightly soft.
- Cool in the tin, then slice into squares.
